F1 2011 Fernando Alonso Helmet Cam – rFactor Spanish GP
ByDepth of field test. No added video effects Cars and track detail in the distance become blurred but that’s hard to see in youtube and through the helmet 
..may upload a t-cam video that displays it a little better. Plugins used TVSTYLE display.dll G-ballsPlugin.dll Enbseries.dll Wombats fps fix.dll

@nihihi1020 If i turn mirrors on and the LCD dials then yes i can see mirrors(infront of the helmet) , if i change fov higher than 35 i probably can just about see the mirrors , with this mod the mirrors in that car are hard to see from the cockpit without any effects enabled, and you loose speed looking in the mirrors:) , i normally just use look behind , heres a video with the mirrors and 1 lcd turned on if this is what you mean

@fugu2punk Well I’m using wombats fps fix which helps for better fps and yes there is a little motion blur but i don’t find that to bad on the fps, in this video theres an edge detection and depth of field effect enabled which transforms the overall look and on a big track like Nords with a few cars would push any system infact i had to clean my pc to run the config as it was getting very hot..the edge detection+DOF does look sweet though , the same config will be available to download soon.

i just wished turn 10 took the time to make a game solely for gaming pcs because theres so much they could do. This game takes their place though.

very very very nice!the grafics arent that good,but this cam is very realistic!love the head movements and that helmet detail.excelent stuff

I guess everyone that has had a helmet in head, knows, that that is not what you are seeing. The head tilting is brilliant, but otherwise it’s like driving eyes half-closed

Head tilt brilliant love you can see so much detail but please tell me this is not code masters f1 2011 as the up shifting sounds grim,but down shifting sounds like a dream!

@jimjam0310f1 It’s rFactor 2011 not Codemasters F1 2011. I haven’t tried Codemasters 2011 but i have 2010 and found the setting up of it and then registering for Games for windows a bit of a bind (old word for fck about)and then finally getting online to find some small rooms not upto the online experience you can get in rfactor…in rfactors early days there where rooms of 50-60 drivers lapping on 1 track
, but yes the sounds in rfactor can be fairly poor.Thanx for the comment.
